 đổi tên thành Tập đoàn Công Nghiệp - Viễn thông Quân đội, theo nghị định chính phủ công bố hôm 12/1. Hai nhà quan sát và phân tích quân sự, Jon Grevatt và Carl Thayer, chia sẻ hai quan điểm tương đối khác nhau về động thái này.

The Lumière (pronounced [lymjɛːʁ]) brothers, Auguste Marie Louis Nicolas [oɡyst maʁi lwi nikɔla] (19 October 1862, Besançon, France – 10 April 1954, Lyon) and Louis Jean [lwi ʒɑ̃] (5 October 1864, Besançon, France – 7 June 1948, Bandol),[1][2] were among the first filmmakers in history. They patented an improved cinematograph, which in contrast to Thomas Edison's "peepshow" kinetoscopeallowed simultaneous viewing by multiple parties.
The Lumière brothers were born in Besançon, France, to Charles-Antoine Lumière (1840–1911)[3] and Jeanne Joséphine Costille Lumière, who were married in 1861 and moved to Besançon, setting up a small photographic portrait studio where Auguste and Louis were born. They moved to Lyon in 1870, where son Edouard and three daughters were born. Auguste and Louis both attended La Martiniere, the largest technical school in Lyon.[4] Their father Charles-Antoine set up a small factory producing photographic plates, but even with Louis and a young sister working from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. it teetered on the verge of bankruptcy, and by 1882 it looked as if they would fail, but when Auguste returned from military service the boys designed the machines necessary to automate their father's plate production and devised a very successful new photo plate, 'etiquettes bleue', and by 1884 the factory employed a dozen workers.

When their father retired in 1892 the brothers began to create moving pictures. They patented several significant processes leading up to their film camera, most notably film perforations (originally implemented by Emile Reynaud) as a means of advancing the film through the camera and projector. The original cinématographe had been patented by Léon Guillaume Bouly on 12 February 1892.[5] The brothers patented their own version on 13 February 1895.[6] The first footage ever to be recorded using it was recorded on 19 March 1895. This first film shows workers leaving the Lumière factory.
The Lumières brothers saw film as a novelty and had withdrawn from the film business in 1905. They went on to develop the first practical photographic colour process, the Lumière Autochrome.

Louis died on 6 June 1948 and Auguste on 10 April 1954. They are buried in a family tomb in the New Guillotiere Cemetery in Lyon.
The Lumière Brothers were not the only ones to claim the title of the first cinematographers. The scientific chronophotography devices developed by Eadweard Muybridge, Étienne-Jules Marey and Ottomar Anschütz in the 1880s were able to produce moving photographs, as was William Friese-Greene's 'chronophotographic' system, demonstrated in 1890.[19] Thomas Edison's Kinetoscope (developed by W K-L Dickson), premiered in 1891
Czech PM Andrej Babis stripped of immunity amid fraud claims
The Czech parliament has stripped Prime Minister Andrej Babis of his immunity, allowing the police to investigate his alleged role in a subsidy fraud.He is accused of removing a farm from his Agrofert conglomerate in 2007 to make it eligible for €2m (£1.8m; $2.4m) in EU subsidies, before eventually putting it back in the holding.Mr Babis, the country's second-richest person, has denied any wrongdoing.The allegation has blocked his attempts to form a government."The problem of this false political case is that I have entered politics... However, I won't give up," Mr Babis, 63, told lawmakers before the vote.
Lawmakers voted 111 to 69 to strip Mr Babis of parliamentary immunity. The prime minister himself voted to lift it.
Philippines stops sending workers to Kuwait over abuse fears
 while it investigates the deaths of several Filipinos there.
The ban comes a day after President Rodrigo Duterte claimed abusive employers in the Gulf state had driven four domestic workers to suicide.He said he was aware of many Filipina women who had suffered sexual abuse in the oil-rich country.
Kuwait said it had contacted the Philippine authorities over the claims.
Philippines Labour Secretary Silvestre Belo cited a higher number of troubling cases, saying six or seven were being investigated.
There are more than 250,000 Filipinos working in Kuwait, according to the Philippines foreign ministry. Most are employed as maids or domestic helpers.They are among over 2.3 million Filipinos documented as working abroad. Other common destinations include the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.Many of those working overseas send their salaries home to the Philippines, with an estimated $2bn (£1.4bn) making it back every month.

Lac-Megantic trial: Workers cleared over Canada rail disaster
A Canadian jury has found three former rail workers not guilty of criminal negligence for their connection to the Lac-Megantic disaster five years ago.
On 6 July 2013, a runaway train filled with petroleum crude oil derailed in the small eastern Quebec town.
Forty-seven people were killed in the tragedy and much of Lac-Megantic's downtown core was destroyed.
The trial began on 2 October in a Quebec Superior Court in Sherbrooke, 100km (62 miles) west of Lac-Megantic.
Locomotive engineer Tom Harding, traffic controller Richard Labrie and manager of train operations Jean Demaitre were charged in 2014 with criminal negligence causing the death of 47 people.Under Canada's criminal code, the charge carries a potential life sentence.All three pleaded not guilty. US musician Tom Petty died of 'accidental drug overdose'
US musician Tom Petty died of an accidental overdose after taking various painkillers, according to a statement issued by his family.
Petty "suffered from many serious ailments...most significantly a fractured hip", the statement said.
Family members say they believe he was overusing prescription pain medication when he died in October aged 66.
Petty found fame as the lead singer of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, with hits like American Girl and Breakdown.
British tourists warned to 'stay in resorts' in Jamaica security emergency

The Jamaican government has declared a state of emergency in the St James parish, after a number of "shooting incidents".
The Foreign Office has told British tourists to stay in the confines of their hotels as a "major military operation" takes place.
About 200,000 British tourists visit Jamaica every year.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: "[Tourists] should follow local advice including restrictions in selected areas, and exercise particular care if travelling at night.
"[They] should stay in their resorts and limit travel beyond their respective security perimeters."
On Thursday the country's prime minister, Andrew Holness, said the state of emergency was "necessary" in order to "restore public safety" in the St James area.
Chief of defence, Major General Rocky Meade, said forces were targeting gangs, with "particular focus on those that are responsible for murders, lotto scamming, trafficking of arms and guns, and extortion".
He added: "We ask that you co-operate with the troops."

Pope Francis 'slander' comment angers Chile abuse victims
after accusing victims of a paedophile priest of slander.
Francis said there was "no proof" for their claims that abuse by Father Fernando Karadima had been covered up by another man, Bishop Juan Barros.
"There is not one single piece of proof against him (Bishop Barros). It is all slander. Is that clear?" the Pope said.
One Karadima victim said the Pope's earlier plea for forgiveness over clerical sex abuse was "empty".

Chiếc HQ 10 là chiếc nhỏ nhất,  đã nổ súng trước tiên theo lệnh của Hạm Trưởng Ngụy Văn Thà, và đã hạ ngay Soái Hạm 274 của Trung Cộng, và chiếc soái hạm này có Đô Đốc Phùng Quang Kình của Trung Cộng và nhiều đại tá nữa đã tử trận. sau đó, nhiều chiến hạm của Trung Cộng kéo đến để bắn chiếc HQ 10, và thiếu tá hạm trưởng cùng 75 chiến sĩ đã anh dũng hy sinh theo chiếc tàu HQ 10 bị đắm chìm.Người chịu trách nhiệm về thiết kế đóng chiếc tàu này là ông Nguyễn Ngọc Bạch,

China tanker fire: Bodies found as Sanchi still burns Salvage workers have managed to board a burning oil tanker off China's coast, recovering the bodies of two crewmen before smoke forced them to leave.

The Sanchi is still ablaze one week after a collision with a cargo ship.

The salvage team also recovered the ship's "black box" recording unit.

The bodies of only three of the 32 crewmen - 30 Iranians and two Bangladeshis - have so far been found. A team of Iranian commandos has now joined the operation.

The tanker was heading to Iran at the time of the collision last Saturday night.

The Church had expressed grave concern for Peter Shao Zhumin, who was removed from his diocese last May.

His friends said they feared that he was being pressured by the authorities to pledge his allegiance to the Chinese Communist Party instead of the Church.

Mississippi Burning case: KKK killer Edgar Ray Killen dies Edgar Ray Killen, the 1960s Ku Klux Klan leader who was convicted over the infamous deaths of three civil rights workers in Mississippi, has died.
The 92-year-old was serving a 60-year sentence, after being jailed in 2005, four decades after the 1964 murders.
The men's disappearance and deaths shocked the country and helped catalyse the passage of the Civil Rights Act.

France drops terrorism charges against Canada professor French authorities have dropped all terrorism charges against Lebanese-Canadian professor Hassan Diab in the 1980 Paris synagogue bombing.
He was charged with first-degree murder in connection to the bombing that killed four people and injured 40.
He was arrested in Canada in 2008 and extradited to France in 2014. He spent three years in prison.
Mr Diab, 64, has always maintained his innocence and says he was in Lebanon at the time of the attack.
"Canada welcomes the recent court decision to release Hassan Diab," said Brittany Venhola-Fletcher, a spokeswoman for Canada's department of international affairs.
Ms Venhola-Fletcher was not able to say when the former University of Ottawa professor would be returning to Canada.
