Ba Lan 'hủy visa' của bảy người VN do Pháp cấp Nhà chức trách Jelenia Gora, một tỉnh biên giới Ba Lan đã hủy visa Schengen trong hộ chiếu của bảy công dân Việt Nam vì họ đến Ba Lan tìm việc làm.Theo trang web của một địa phương vùng biên giới Ba Lan, ba người lớn và bốn trẻ em Việt Nam đến Ba Lan để xin việc làm và giấy tờ cư trú.Tuy nhiên, họ chỉ có visa được Đại sứ quán Pháp cấp thuộc dạng có thể vào khối Schengen ngắn ngày, và vì thế bị cho là đến Ba Lan "sai mục đích của thị thực".Theo bài báo hôm 13/12/2017, trong quá trình kiểm tra xe cộ, nhân viên Cục Biên phòng Ba Lan đã phát hiện ra nhóm người Việt Nam này trên đường đến cư quan chính quyền tỉnh Jelenia Gora để "xin giấy tờ cư trú và giấy phép lao động".
Họ bị coi là vào Ba Lan sai mục đích vì chỉ có visa thăm thân.Nhà chức trách Ba Lan coi đây là vụ việc mang tính "di dân" và ngay lập tức xóa visa của họ. Nhóm người Việt Nam này "được yêu cầu rời lãnh thổ Ba Lan" và bị cấm trở lại trong một thời hạn theo quy định.Hiện không rõ với visa Schengen đã bị hủy, họ sẽ quay về Pháp thế nào để trở lại Việt Nam hay đi đâu tiếp. không nhỏ công dân Việt Nam đi từ các nước Tây Âu sang CH Czech và Ba Lan để "nuôi giấy tờ cư trú".
Cũng có không ít trường hợp từ CH Czech hoặc Slovakia sang Ba Lan để "đăng ký" tìm cách có giấy tờ mà họ tin là hợp lệ để cư trú hoặc làm việc. EU về khu vực lưu thông tự do theo Hiệp định Schengen ghi rõ rằng đây là dạng visa chỉ để thăm viếng không quá 90 ngày và cho phép quá cảnh ở 26 nước thành viên (Schengen States).Trang này cũng quy định "trong một số trường hợp, công tác kiểm tra thêm có thể dẫn tới việc từ chối không cho người mang visa vào một quốc gia thuộc khối Schengen", kể cả khi visa đã được một nước Schengen khác cấp".

Since 2013, the royal commission has referred more than 2,500 allegations to authorities.

The leader of India's main opposition Congress party, Sonia Gandhi, has retired from her post, the party confirmed on Thursday.
Her son, Rahul Gandhi, has been elected unopposed as the new president and will officially take charge on Friday.
Mrs Gandhi, 71, has been the party president since 1998. She was elected to parliament in 1999.
She is, however, not retiring from politics and will continue as a member of parliament, the party said.
