A P&O ferry briefly ran aground in Calais, northern France, due to high winds.
Nobody was injured in the incident involving the Pride of Kent, port officials told news agency AFP.
A spokesman for P&O said the incident happened when the ferry was leaving Calais for Dover: "There are no reported injuries, the ship was refloated within two hours and we hope to transfer our passengers to an alternative ship as soon as possible."
