Nhiều người dân Thái Lan tập trung tại Bangkok để tham dự tang lễ Hoàng gia và lễ hỏa táng đối với cố Quốc vương Bhumibol Adulyadej, một năm sau khi vị vua băng hà. Nghi lễ hỏa táng diễn ra hôm 26/10 đối với Quốc vương Rama IX của Thái Lan. Nhà vua băng hà ngày 13/10/2016, hưởng thọ 88 tuổi.
Ông là vị vua trị vì lâu đời nhất trên thế giới. Trong suốt triều đại của ông, Thái Lan có đến 30 đời thủ tướng.

Four people were killed when a train and an army lorry collided in woodland near Raasepori in southern Finland.
Three of the dead were army conscripts and one was a passenger on the train, officials said.
The crash happened at a level crossing, and the reason is not yet clear. The lorry was on a military exercise.
At least seven people were injured and some have been sent to a Helsinki hospital. Raasepori - or Raseborg - is a small coastal town west of Helsinki.

Swiss tourists attacked by gang in India
A Swiss couple have been attacked at Fatehpur Sikri, a monument 44km (27 miles) from the Taj Mahal, Indian police say.
A senior police officer told BBC Hindi that four men attacked Quentin Jeremy Clerc and Marie Droz after an argument on Sunday in Agra district.
Local media reported on Wednesday that Mr Clerc had suffered a fractured skull and Ms Droz had fractures to her hand.
They are being treated at a hospital in Delhi. No arrests have been made.

Scientists in India have discovered a 152 million-year-old fossil of an ichthyosaur - an extinct marine reptile - in the western state of Gujarat.
This is the first time an ichthyosaur fossil has been discovered in India.
The fossil was found inside rocks from the Mesozoic Era, which ran between 252 and 66 million years ago, in the Kutch desert.
Prof Guntupalli VR Prasad, who led the study, said the 5.5m (18ft) specimen was almost complete.
Often misidentified as "swimming dinosaurs", they first appeared in the early Triassic period (251 million to 199 million years ago)

At least 23 people have been killed and dozens injured after an explosion and fire at an Indonesian fireworks factory, police say.
The blaze took hold at around 09:00 local time (02:00 GMT), at an industrial complex in Tangerang, west of the capital Jakarta.
"We are still evacuating victims," Tangerang Kota police chief Harry Kurniawan told AFP.

Ancient skull 'oldest tsunami victim'
An ancient human skull discovered in Papua New Guinea is likely to have belonged to the world's oldest-known tsunami victim, scientists say.
The skull was discovered in 1929 near the town of Aitape and originally attributed to the Homo erectus species, an ancestor of modern humans.
However, scientists now say the area was once a coastal lagoon that was hit by a tsunami about 6,000 years ago.
They believe the skull belonged to a person who died in the tsunami.
The discovery came after the international team compared sediments from the area with soil from a nearby region hit by a devastating tsunami in 1998.
